TFAr.Thrust. Colours

And she tried to save this pitiful sketch [link] and turn it into a decent picture. It has been like hell. Wrong angled lines, odd perspective and proportions, horribly squiggly inks... eek! :eek:

About the "texture": I started with my usual colouring technique, with the lineart above all the other layers (put to multiply mode) and the colours underneath. Unfortunately, qhen I realized the lineart sucked, I started wondering how to change parts of the painting, without ending up with a mess. I tried re-doing the lineart, but I HATE inking digitally. So I only re-did the stearscreamish fingers with this technique. Then :il-gritz: pointed out that the original drawing's texture made the image look like as it had been coloured with pastels, so I decided to keep also that effect painti everything with a 1 pixel brush, tweaking the colour dynamics option blah blah... God.
Than I added some dirt at the top of the layers, since I noticed that my Thrust toy has mud and dirt painted all over.
And then I grew tired of this huge file and decided to upload it in all his monstruaosity.
