Just realized that my old account ~Mistique89D has more than 10,000 pageviews. Holy s**t!

and I realized that some of my old stuff wasn't so horrible!
I browsed my old (half corrupted) Windows OS archives and the more pictures I looked at, the more my heart shrank and hurt.

It's strange. I've been browsing also my papery stuff since yesterday and I've been struck directly into my guts by a giant nostalgia.

I miss all those great days, I miss being an idiot, I miss being a Yaoi-obsessed teenager, I miss loving Cyc and hating Starscream (here TFA Screamer and Thrust wave a giant "I'm PWNZOME and I R0x0rx" flag), I miss doodling at school on Greek translations, I miss highschool, I miss 2007 and the golden era, I miss Amanda (=Mysticom ) and those long days spent drawing toghether, one here, in Italy, the other in the Netherlands, separated yet united by my stupid hiccupy Internet line. I miss drawing stuff to please people, I miss drawing human transformers before they were canonized, I miss being a child...


I miss too many things. I miss not being aware that my wings were pinioned, clipped by adults who wanted me good, bright, the best.

I miss listening to Nightwish while sleeping on the bus. I miss being Fede(rica)'s friend, eventhough I knew she was envious and hated me deep inside, but needed me, craved to be at my side, loved sewing puppets and embroider fabric jewels for me and see that I was pleased and happy with it. I miss how she pretended to know Transformers, eventhough she didn't watch a single episode.

I miss roleplaying at school, I miss the cripted language we used in 2007, I miss eating pasta and not giving a damn I used to be 12/14 kg fatter, I miss ice-cream and cakes, I miss being scruffy and not give a damn about clothes.


I miss all my Mary Sues, capable of doing anything and love everybody. I miss Blue Arrow. I miss you Mistique. :blackrose:



And I'll miss also Mike Bongiorno, a great and still very active Italian TV celebrity, died in peace and serenity at the age of 85.:tombstone: R.I.P.

Hello! My name's Miriam.

I'm nothing but a humble and moody artist under construction. I have no pretences, niether as a illustrator nor as a photographer.
I'm only here to express myself and recieve some feedback.
I love kindness and hate rude or presumptuous people, even if they're the best artists around.

I've started my DA career as an obsessed teenager under the name of ~Mistique89D. I'm both proud and terribly ashamed of my past deeds, but what I can assert is that I've grown since 2005... but not enough to completely leave fantasy and daydreaming!

I like giving my own personal twist to things.
However I do fanart, but not enough to become a famous artist in the field. Also because I do not deserve that.
I have the bad habit of creating acronyms for my stuff and changing them continuately :D

I'm aware that my art and my style are still strident and immature: that's why I'm here!
